Master's Degree with Minor in Mathematics  A minimum of 9 hours of coursework in mathematics is required with at least a B average. At least 6 of these hours must be in 500 or 700 level courses.
Master's Degree with Mathematics as a Split Minor  A minimum of 6 hours of coursework in mathematics is required with at least a B average. At least 3 of these hours must be in 500 or 700 level courses.
Doctoral Degree with Minor in Mathematics  A minimum of 9 hours of coursework in mathematics in 500 or 700 level courses is required with at least a B average. Courses taken for a master's degree minor will not be counted towards the PhD minor.
 For a minor in CMA, the coursework must include MA 580, MA 780 (or equivalent), and one additional course in computational mathematics, computer science or in an applied computational area, as described on the list of approved CMA courses.
 Credit for MA 502 will not be allowed if the courses MA 512 and 513 are presented.
 The Mathematics Department's representative on the student's advisory committee should be involved as early as possible in helping to plan the mathematics program.
Doctoral Degree with Mathematics as a Split Minor  A minimum of 6 hours of coursework in mathematics at the 500 or 700 level is required with at least a B average.
