UNDERGRADUATE INFO
Transferring Into the Department of Mathematics
NCSU Students!

If you aspire to add Mathematics or Applied Mathematics as a major, you should meet with Dr. Scroggs. The same proceedure applies if you are transferring into one of our programs, or if you are adding as a second/third major.

Before we meet, please arrange an Intended Major Degree Audit or set up a Temporary Degree Audit for the Math Major. The Temporary Degree Audit is established by visiting the MyPack portal, where you see your Plan of Work. We can meet after your request is processed (it takes 1-5 days to be processed, and will be available for several weeks). An Intended Major Degree Audit is set up by your academic adviser, and lasts until your adviser cancels it.

You can drop by during office hours, try to catch me in the office, or make an appointment with me by calling 919-513-2298.

Click here for our expectations/requirements for internal transfers.

My office hours and instructions about making appointments are online.

Best regards,
Prof. Scroggs
