How to get Good Advising

Minimum Grade Requirements for Mathematics Majors (MA and AMA)

The NC State Degree Requirements (MA and AMA) list most of the minimum grade requirements. The "Max D" column gives the maximum number of D's allowed for each requirement.

In addition:

  • At most one D (at most three credit hours) can be used towards the Advanced Math requirement.
  • At most one D (at most 4 credit hours) can be used in your Basic Science courses.
