UNDERGRADUATE INFO
Advising

Undergraduate Math Majors,

Advising for Fall 2008 is upon us. Before you meet your adviser, enter the classes you plan to take for the next 2-3 semesters into your Plan of Work, and 'Submit' the plan for approval. This needs to be accomplished (at least) 24 hours before you meet with your adviser (the software cycles through the records overnight).

Information for Prof. Scroggs's advisees

If you have been here a while and are comfortable choosing your classes, include a request for your PIN when you submit your plan for approval. The PIN won't automatically be provided, but I'll consider the request as I review your plan. If your PIN is released, it will be available at PackTracs through the mypack.ncsu.edu portal. I'll be checking Plans about every other day, so completing your Plan well in advance of registration is particularly helpful, especially if you qualify for early registration.

I have about 220 advisees. That means meeting with me early is strongly suggested. If Math is your first major, you obtain your PIN from your math adviser.

My office hours and instructions about making appointments are online.
