Advice for New Mathematics Students (Especially Transfers)
Steps to choosing your first schedule
  1. Look at the Degree Requirements for Mathematics (MA) or Applied Mathematics (AMA) .
  2. Look at the sample semester-by-semester schedules for Mathematics (MA) or Applied Mathematics (AMA)
  3. Plan your first semester (or more) with the Plan of Work interface. Try to take MA 225, MA 407, and MA 425 as early as possible.  These courses are really at the heart of the curriculum.
  4. Obtain your PIN from the Director of Undergraduate Programs .
  5. You are usually sent your unity ID and password.  If you cannot locate this information, contact computing services (515-HELP).
