145 students have graduated from our Math Honors Program since 1992. We are very proud of their accomplishments:
- 110 students went on to graduate school
- 75 continued with Ph.D. study - 40 in math and 35 in math-related areas. Graduate schools attended include Princeton, MIT, Cambridge, Stanford, Wisconsin, NYU, Cornell, Maryland, Rutgers, UT-Austin
- 35 went on for master's degrees - 25 in math and 10 in math-related areas
- Two went to medical school
- 50 students selected for the NSF-sponsored Research Experiences for Undergraduates
- 38 studied abroad, including 29 at the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics
- Two students have received Gates Cambridge Scholarships to University of Cambridge, UK
- 13 students received NSF Graduate Fellowships, with 6 going to students in math. This ranks NC State 19th nationally, surpassing programs at many prominent universities such as Brown, Columbia, NYU, Rutgers, Wisconsin, and Maryland
- Four students received Department of Defense Graduate Fellowships
- One student received a Fulbright
- One student received a Ford Foundation Fellowship
- Six students received Goldwater Scholarships
