Undergraduate Financial Math at NCSU

Undergraduate students studying mathematics at NCSU have the opportunity to take courses that are part of our Financial Mathematics (FM) Professional Science Masters (PSM). Faculty affiliated with our program have research interests and teaching specialties related to finance. A career that involves modeling energy futures, and pricing mortgage-backed securities requires advanced training, such as the FM PSM, but the math background and problem-solving skills learned as an undergraduate provide a solid foundation for further studies in this field.
