Scholarships and Financial Aid

Students in the Financial Mathematics Program are expected to provide their own financial support. Many students land summer internships that pay a substantial portion of the cost. There are a few small grants that are listed below.

Wachovia Fellowship

The Financial Mathematics Program currently offers one $3,000 fellowship to an outstanding first-year student. This grant covers only a small portion of the total cost of attending. Consideration for this scholarship is automatic (no special application is required).

NCSU-administered resources

These grants are not administered by the FM Program -- students apply for these grants directly.

There are no graduate assistantships, no teaching assistantships, no substantial financial support for students attending the program.
