Basic List Commands
subscribe: To subscribe to a seminar list just send email to mj2@lists.ncsu.edu with the following command.
subscribe list email
Just replace list with the seminar list you want to add yourself to. Then replace email with the email address you wish to add.
unsubscribeTo unsubscribe to a seminar list just send email to mj2@lists.ncsu.edu with the following command.
unsubscribe list email
Just replace list with the seminar list you want to remove yourself from. Then replace email with the email address you wish to remove.
alias address If you have more than one email address, you may wish to be able to post from more than one of them, while receiving list mail at only a single address. The 'alias' command allows this.

Send this command from an address that is registered with the server; the given address will then be considered equivalent to the address from which you sent the command. Examples: Thad has two addresses, thad@example.com and tsmith@bar.com. He wants to be able to post from either address, but only wants to receive mail at thad@example.com. He subscribes to the list as thad@example.com and, from that address, sends the command:
alias tsmith@example.com
