Postdoctoral Fellowship in Hybrid and Parallel Symbolic Computation

Professor Kaltofen's recently awarded NSF grant ``AF: Small: Efficient Exact/Certified Symbolic Computation By Hybrid Symbolic-Numeric and Parallel Methods'' funds a postdoc to perform research in the areas of the the grant (see the posted abstract for more information). The NSF funded portion is for 3 semesters, which by teaching 1 course per year optionally can be extended to 2 years.

It is expected that the applicant has defended her/his Ph.D. thesis by the time of arrival at NCSU, which is in the Fall 2012 Semester at the latest. Starting the position mid-semester is acceptable.
