Welcome to the Symbolic Computation Group at NCSU
The Symbolic Computation Group is a research group within the Department of Mathematics at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina. Symbolic computation is a field in the intersection of mathematics and computer science, concerned with the design, analysis and implementation of algorithms for algebraic problems.

The primary goal of the Symbolic Computation Group is to integrate research with graduate and undergraduate education. The purpose of these web pages is to give an introduction to the research and educational activities of the group for prospective students and colleagues.
