WELCOME MESSAGE

The Math Circle in the Triangle is a weekly mathematics enrichment program for enthusiastic and motivated middle school students (grades 6-8) from the Triangle Area. It is organized by a group of faculty from the Department of Mathematics at NCSU.

The Math Circle in the Triangle will be meeting regularly throughout the 2011-2012 school year on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 11:30 at NCSU - SAS Hall (bldg. 32A) in room 2102. Our first meeting of the year will be on Saturday, September 10th. You can find a full schedule of meetings here.

Our goal is to provide the students an opportunity to explore interesting topics in mathematics that lie outside regular school curriculum, to have fun while doing math, and to meet other students interested in mathematics. If you would like to participate, please sign up for our mailing list here. Many frequently asked questions are answered here. If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You can read an article about our program in NCSU's College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Newsletter from September, 2011.
