
Pi Mu Epsilon
North Carolina Gamma Chapter
Pi Mu Epsilon is
a national honorary mathematics society founded in 1914, with chapters
on
more than 150 campuses and a total membership of about 30,000. The N.C.
State
chapter, known as North Carolina Gamma, was installed in 1960 and has a current membership
of 102. The faculty advisor for this chapter is Dr. H.T. Tran of the Mathematics
Department.
